I thought this looked too glossy in reality. I went online to check again, online picture didnt look that glossy. Then I saw there was another braided belt which would be more of what i was looking for and similar to the existing one, alas, too late! It was intended as a gift so we shall see how it is being received by the recipient.

This would have been a 5 star review but the belt was let down by a poor loop strap to catch the belt when it had been fastened. It seemed an afterthought not made with the same quality and care as the excellent belt.
